Aims of the journal are to advance knowledgeand to seek newperspectives to fashion and textiles worldwide through original researcharticles, reviewpapers, editorial, case study, book reviews and letters to the editor. Thefashion andtextiles discipline has intertwined with aligned disciplines such as naturalsciences, humanities, social sciences, and the arts. Fashion & Textiles envisions thecapabilitiesof integrated disciplines that will provide challenging and rewarding opportunities to scholars and industry experts.

“YoungoneFashion and Textiles Best Paper Award”sponsored by Youngone corporation, will recognize outstanding papers that contribute to theoretical advancement of the discipline and facilitate collaborative studies with related disciplines and industry.Two best papers, one from physical sciences areas(TextileScience & Technology and Clothing Science & Technology) and the other from humanities/social sciences areas (Economics of Clothing & Textiles, Fashion Business, and Fashion Design & History), will be selected annually among the papers published in the journal during the previous year. Each of the selected papers will be awarded a prize of $1,000 and certificates for all individual authors. The awards will be announced and recognized in Fashion and Textiles homepage in October each year.
